About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our company. The ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge of finance principles and demonstrate expertise in managing financial operations efficiently. Additionally, hands-on experience with Google Sheets is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Recheck the daily Payment summary of all approved Payments with complete required information.
- Generate and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Monitor and control expenses to optimize spending and maximize profitability.
- Manage cash flow, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury functions, to maintain liquidity and financial health.
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations if needed.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems.
- Clear understanding of all company accounting department procedures.
- Closing of final accounts with accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of verification aspects and basic taxation laws.
- Proficient in any updated accounting software with hands-on experience in spreadsheet tools.
- Expertise in Excel formulas, lookups, Macros, Pivot Tables, Calculations, and Index Match functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (CA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role, with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and other Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
