About the Role
We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicating with clients by phone, through email, and face-to-face to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
- Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers.
- Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure they fulfill all customer requests.
- Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires.
- Acting as the client’s representative to ensure their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience.
- Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs.
- Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs.
- Stay on top of accounts, ensuring services meet their budget and needs.
- Meet regularly with team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
- Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization.
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
